CKC has a new building

Having an approved budget of twenty five million pesos, the construction of a four-storey building inside the main campus is currently underway and is expected to be ready for occupancy by January 2006.  Designed by Architect Sister Mauricia Tapang, RVM, this building will host the Libraries of all departments, science laboratory, speech laboratory, computer and internet laboratories, chapel, administrative offices and twelve grade school class rooms.

The erection of this building, yet again, stamps on the soil of Gingoog City the CKCís firm and continuous commitment to provide quality and Christian education to the youth of the locality and the neighboring areas.

Congratulations.... from School Administrators, Faculty and Staff.

 Little Bitty....

Grade School Intramurals was moved to January this school year to give way to the construction of the new building. For the time being, pupils are spending their Activity Days in practice.

Pupils excelled in the City DepED initiated culmination activities of the Buwan ng Wika held last August 30, 2005. Worth noting is the exemplary performances of Adre Rosh P Ramada (Grade 1) being the Champion in Pang-unawa sa Pagbasa, Mary Sheenie M. Obendencio (Grade 2) - 2nd Runner Up in Tula and Gerald Victor Alba (Grade 3) - 1st runner up in Declamation.

MIXED STUFF

 A tradition preserved...

Trained by Mrs. Joselita Canios, Albert M. Guanzon, a fourth year high school student,  keeps the CKC banner up above the rest on the oratorical tilt when the bags the first place in the Division Oratorical contest sponsored by the Gingoog City Water District . For a couple of years now, CKC has been the division representative to the regional speech fest. Guanzon will compete in Malaybalay, Bukidnon on November against other divisions' representatives in Region IX.

On a related event, third year student Wilton Militante's piece bested other entries to the on the spot poster-making contest. He too will be representing Gingoog City to the regional competition.

Grade school student Marie Antoinette Pajo also made a bid but fell just a little bit short as her piece settled as first runner-up on the grade school category of the same contest.

 A tradition fostered...

Finally, after several years of trailing behind Bukidnon State College, CKC enty to the street dancing competition on Gingoog City's Kaliga Festival garnered the top spot this year. More importantly though, simply taking part to this annual activity is already a source of pride and joy to the participants.
