gives the students effective learning experiences both for those who
desire to continue in college and those who wish to pursue further
vocational training to obtain some initial gainful employment
CHRISTIAN LIVING/VALUE EDUCATION PROGRAM
the core of the curriculum of Christ the King College. It deals with an
intensified study and understanding of Godís call to a life of union
with Him, and manís response to this call through his faithful following
Christ, the witnessing of Christian faith and values; self worth, his
active membership and participation in the community of the people of
God and love of country. Each year leads the student to a closer degree
of relationship with God and his/her neighbor through well integrated
Christian Living and Value Education Program.
High School English Program is designed to help the students develop
their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills acquired in Grade
School. From simple reading and writing activities to higher levels of
literary forms and grammatical structures, the learners will be able to
develop skills and rudiments in speech, reading, writing, and critical
thinking. Year level objectives which are drawn or coordinated on a
sequential basis, hopefully will lead the students to a more effective
and dynamic learning process.

Mathematics Program provides the development of the studentís
Mathematical skills in the four fundamental operations. This is evident
in First year Mathematics where students manifest ability to use
effectively graphs and tables interpreting and analyzing data in solving
Mathematical problems. The Second Year Math is integrated in nature
where Algebra, Geometry, Statistics are introduced one after the other
in spiral approach. The Third Year Math strengthens the first two units
which devoted to Algebra, the third unit to Geometry and the last unit
to statistics. Fourth Year Mathematics combine the fundamentals of
Advance Algebra and Plane Trigonometry. This also includes the basic
concepts, laws and operations of some special topics in Algebra like
variation, progression, exponential, logarithmic functions plus key
ideas of descriptive statistics, correlation and prediction.
Science Program provides the students extensive opportunities to explore
the world of man and nature. Through carefully selected activities and
experiments, the students could identify problems, collect, analyze and
interpret data and make valid generalization and evaluation.
SOCIAL STUDIES PROGRAM
Social Studies Program of Christ the King College is aimed at helping
students grow into responsible, creative and dynamic members of home,
community, and country, urging them to contribute their share to family
solidarity, national unity and world peace.
program provides computer literacy to the High School students. This
includes familiarization of the Computer Hardware and the IBM Disk
Operating System. Through this program, the students will get acquainted
with the different word processing software and programming languages
such as WordStar, WordPerfect, Lotus 123, FoxPro, Turbo Basic and Turbo
Pascal which will enhance their logical abilities.
TECHNOLOGY AND HOME ECONOMICS PROGRAM
Practical Arts Program provides the students with general knowledge in
Homemaking Arts, Agricultural and Business Industrial Technology geared
towards food production and productive living. The course aims to awake
students vocational interest as well as to develop their talents and
manipulative skills involved in the different arts of Homemaking and
PEHM Program is aimed at helping the young CKCians develop a
well-rounded personality through a balanced integration of the various
components namely: Physical Education, Health, Music and Preparatory
Military Training for the Fourth Year.
